With 50 regional venues participating across NSW we are in need of qualified swim teachers to help us deliver our programs to kids from 3-14 years of age. Programs run for 10 days from Monday 10 January to Friday 21 January 2022 (lessons on weekdays only). About the role We’re looking for an adept Marketing and Events Coordinator with at least 5 years’ experience to support a range of aquatic industry and community events, campaigns and advocacy programs The role is responsible for managing and marketing a range of industry events and supporting the ongoing marketing and advocacy program of Royal Life Saving programs and services. Working to deadlines, attention to detail, and a strong marketing background is critical to the success in this role. The role is based out of our Castle Hill Office in NSW, and you work closely with our highly talented and innovative team across NSW, ACT and TAS Your focus will be on: Marketing Developing Marketing strategies with external clients and the team Implementing Marketing Campaigns with Industry and Community Implementing the organisational Brand Guidelines across the organisation Marketing key events and working with key sponsors and supporters Coordinating all event print collateral such as banners, name tags, event brochures Events ManagementCoordinating entire events from start to event date, and post event including planning for following years event Event supplier and venue research, and management including budgets Communicating with event sponsors and exhibitors including managing their onboarding before and after the event, and managing onsite during the event Communicating with and onboarding of event speakers including collection of bios, event website updating, and welcoming and managing them on the event day Coordinating logistical delivery on event days About you You must be customer service focused, organised, have strong attention to detail, able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously, all while maintaining a professional and positive attitude.You will possess the following:3-5 years minimum experience in marketing and coordinating events High organisation skills and demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines You will be customer centric with superior attention to detail You will have basic graphic design skills You will be well-presented and punctual You will have an eye for design and be aesthetically aware Flexibility regarding necessary work outside of office hours You will have strong verbal and written communication skills Be team oriented and results driven Good at problem-solving with the ability to multitask Microsoft suite You will possess the resilience to handle a fast-paced working environment, be able to work autonomously, with a passion for excellence Experience dealing with business stakeholders outside of the organisation About the Offer This is a full-time role with a supportive industry leader.
